Let me start by saying: I like the bag. Nice materials, nice closure, nice buckle, and it's small and looks good.

The sizing listed is all over the place. On the site it says 1.2L, but on the bag it says 0.7L. What should be believed?

Also, it was a missed opportunity to make the interior zipper pocket just a tiny bit bigger to fit a passport with a sleeve; as-is, it will only fit the passport by itself (and just barely).

Also, it gets a bit awkward if you store your phone in the bag, as there's barely any room to store anything else. You pretty much have to choose between using the zipper pocket or front mesh pockets as you can't really use both unless you're only storing cash or tickets in one of them. For example, I can't realistically put my phone + airpods + card wallet in this bag without taking the airpods and phone out at the same time (because the airpods case wont fit in the mesh pockets if the phone is in there- it has to sit at the top or bottom of the phone).

I find myself still putting my phone into my pants pockets as a result.

I think there's further refinement to do with this bag, such as adding a tiny amount of additional material for expansion purposes. I think it can be done without making the bag appreciably bulkier. it really is a question of millimeters at this point. Still, I like this bag better than the "3L" bag because of the design and angle of the straps.

The opening and the design make it so that you can really only fit a wallet and keys in it. it is a very nice design and material though. It becomes quite expensive if you buy from Europe as you’ll be lopped with another 35 euros of duties on top of the price.

Its perfect if you do not carry a lot of things. I personally carry just my phone, airpods, keys and phone in there and thats pretty much all that fits.

Great materials and innovation. Would buy again.

ES:01 ESSENTIAL SLING 1.2L

Opening and closing this thing is a joy. cant go back to using zippers on my old slings.

Got mine launch week here in LA. I wanted something small and clean that didn’t scream ‘outdoor gear’ or ‘tech bro.’ This nails it. The strap buckle is fast, the pockets make sense, and the main compartment is just big enough for my essentials without tempting me to overpack. It’s light enough to wear all day but feels like it’ll last forever. Already replaced my old crossbody. Great if you dont need to pack a ton.

It’s quite light and I like how the magnets close. It can rip across the neck if your collar is too low, the adjusting is done through a loop that can get a bit big but it’s not so bad
