I was already very surprised to see a wallet marketed as “Designed in Germany” shipping from the US, but now I had to pay an extra 26€ of import duties at my doorstep?! This is shameful — you should warn buyers about it, and suggest your european stockists instead…

The wallet itself is as avertised but I can’t recommend anyone from Europe buying from this website.

I need a very compact wallet for traveling purpose.

I recently purchased the RE:FORM RE:01 Wallet, attracted by its sleek design and compact form factor. As someone who prefers minimalism, the promise of a slim profile caught my eye. Indeed, the wallet lives up to expectations in terms of form: it's stylish, lightweight, and easily fits into any pocket without creating an unsightly bulge.

However, the main drawback of the RE:FORM RE:01 Wallet is its limited capacity. It accommodates up to three cards comfortably, but trying to fit a fourth card becomes a struggle. The snug compartments make removal a bit cumbersome, especially in quick, everyday situations. This tightness limits its practicality for those who need to carry more than just a few essential cards.

While I appreciate the minimalist intent, I feel that future iterations could greatly benefit from a slight increase in capacity. Adding just a bit more space could allow for four or five cards to fit without difficulty, enhancing its usability without sacrificing its hallmark slimness.

In summary, the RE:FORM RE:01 Wallet is ideal for those who carry only a couple of cards and value aesthetics and minimalism. However, it could greatly improve by adding provisions for additional cards while maintaining the ease of access. For now, anyone looking to carry more than three cards might need to consider alternative options.

I love this thing! As I typically carry about 3 or 4 cards, it gives me the flexibility to carry much more in a small form factor. Cash, coins, keys or whatever will fit in the pocket. PLUS, it’s so satisfying to open and close!

The wallet has less storage than I expected to be. The inner sleeve on the coin pocket side doesn’t fit a regular credit card. It turns out to be a waste of this space, meanwhile, I can already keep my bank notes in the coin pocket. Not sure what else can people do with this irregular space.

With the space limitation, I would need to carrying less cards than I usually need. Thus, I have already emailed RE:FORM about their return policy and procedure.
